Hospital survey examples

Every survey you run should have a clear goal. What do you want to measure? We recommend keeping it to a few concise questions with a single objective. The more questions you add, the less likely your patient is to answer the survey thoughtfully.

The aim is to be clear, focused, and to make the survey as quick to answer as possible. With exit surveys for this kind of service, it’s often important to be specific.

The topics typically covered in hospital satisfaction surveys include:

  • New or returning patient
  • Quality
  • Treatment
  • Food
  • Comfort
  • Cleanliness
  • Speed
  • Specialized care
  • Quality and competence of the doctors
  • Quality and competence of the nurses
  • Post-consultation follow-up
  • Tact and the way your health status was communicated to you
  • Age
  • Member (patient) number or another personal detail
